Whoa it’s October 1st again, a special day in the annals of our nation NIGERIA when we commemorate the event that gained us freedom from colonial administration. With utmost pleasure, I count it privilege to wish NIGERIANS a HAPPY 54^th INDEPENDENCE celebration!!  It is of note that at this phase of our nationhood many issues are at combat with us ranging from terrorism, corruption, dilapidated structures and the likes of others. However, let it be reiterated once again to us that a nation doesn’t grow without the composition of people that constitute the entity or state. It will only take the determination and collective responsibility of the individuals that forms a geographical setting such as ours nation to develop the terrain.
Leaders as well are not the set of people that grows a nation, they only facilitate the growth pattern through the responsibility entrusted them to oversee and administer all resources for and on behalf of the citizenries. 

Within our responsibility as a people lies active role we must play as a stakeholder by causing positive impacts in our sphere of influence. The combination of every individual doing the right and needful thing at the right time in the right direction has potency of projecting our nation’s growth and development. Never try to change a system, people or nation without first making the change on your individual self. Change will only come from a changed people and changed people will be the tool that cause change to the fallen system. This is how it play out: if all the sphere of influence are governed by collective action of individuals, see how our development as a nation will be fast track.

It's free! A wired concept endowed to our trust, you don't need to attend an institution to get certified for enrollment into the faculty. Its nothing other than THINKING FACULTY. How healthy your life will be is determined by how healthy your thinking faculty is. You don't outgrow your thought pattern, you become what you think says a wise king. Whatever innovation our world have witnessed is a function of someone's thinking, at one point in time someone had thought of it as an idea and then put it to action by working it out.

This may sound as a cliché but it's truth in reality: You're product of your thought pattern. Anything you will do in life must have first gone into thinking before hatching action on it. The product of our lives is directly proportionate to the measure of our mindset and thinking faculty.
The effectiveness of your thought pattern determines the quality of your life. How you think determines the effectiveness that your life take, we can't ignore this great principle as it states the quality of our lives. Think right and see your lives take the proper shape.

What you feed into your mind becomes the result you see in physical manifestation. Feed in success and work towards it then you produce success as a result. It's the measure of the right knowledge you have and work with that makes you free in life, and if you must be free you've got to first hatch it as a thought before it becomes real in the physical. At every point in life, you must always give your mind assignment by thinking 'cause it is free. No one will do it for you unless you take the bold step to do it all by yourself, any thinking done by anyone on your behalf is counterfeit not original. Put it to work and use its initiative wisely.

How do you possess effective thinking faculty, it is through the medium of feeding your mind with right information. The right information you feed on gives room for a healthy thinking, what goes on into the mind comes out as a product of thinking that the mind hatches or conceive in form of thought.

INHERITANCE – the father’s heart (#Day 5 Stream)

Everything that has a beginning must surely have an end, and the end is always greater than the beginning. Today the series is taking on a concluding part, and it must sink to our conscious mind that the labours, work of generation past are not completed without whole intake to their dimension. Labour of our heroes past must not be in vain, without ours’ dimension to the good work done by them it can’t be said that they've accomplished success. So also our own good work in this generation won't be accounted successful if generation behind us and generationNEXT doesn't consummate its role.

What we can’t propagate after our demise is failure right in our presence which won’t fly beyond our dispensation. 
There is a mark placed upon our lives, failure to attain its standard render non-effective the great work and precious time spent in defining the standards. A word of a writer who sees work of generation past incomplete without our own contribution comes to mind:

"And all of these (the heroes), though they won divine approval by means of their faith, did not receive the fulfillment of what was promised. Because God had us in mind and has something better and greater in view for us, so that they should not come to perfection apart from us" - Hebrews 11:39-40

Where do we now stand? Our present stance of position is likened to that of a watchman always on the stand in the tower proclaiming glad tidings - this I say is our standpoint now as a generation. We are functioning as interface between generation past and generation Next, judging every moral decadence by redefining what should hold as core value. This we're not going to do by only means of word of mouth but our action must complement it by standing out for the true cause of what we believe and live for. Every moment of our lives must be defined and redefined as meeting up to required standard of living for a greater cause beyond us reaching out to humanity. The greatest test of our character and life will be determined by where we stand in the time of adversity, it is either we let it turn us to a poor specimen or it redefines our strength in becoming more virile to outweigh any stormy path.

At every point in each phase, we are writing history for generation to read. If so be it what are we writing ready to pass on to generations? GenerationNEXT will only hear and learn from our good works that has be written in the annals of humanity, let it be that they find good lasting episode to hear of you. Many of us have history at our disposal but not learning from it. Histories are series of events we ought to learn from so the mistakes are not repeated in our time. Simply put, what you export as legacy to generation is the story of your life fulfillment that can be ready in the annals of history or events. Mistakes are made so that we don’t make such mistakes again, always learn from past mistake and used it as correction model for your life.

As I finally make conclusion on the whole series, we must understand that our generation must come to a fair leveling ground where the errors and mistakes of generation gone must be strengthened by us so it doesn't become a mistake or error passed on to generation behind us and posterities. This will be achievable only when we get our hands together on those principles that define our core values. Here’s how my father put it:

The future you've ever longed for won't meet you in your comfort zone, you've got to go in search of it in the field..it's laying fallow in the field waiting for your discovery! In which aspect would you want to be poured out for your generations? The ball is in your court, play it as you wish but how you play it will determine what people say of the game in future.  Today we take our discuss to a level which distinguishes component dimension of how to export our legacy beyond our present reach to generations. Vision will be the answer to that. Living the end from beginning and be able to cast a view on the future beyond the now depict vision. Vision is an expression of a mind geared toward building an empire with the future in view. Vision is the ability to forecast into the future and live it reality while still in the present.
It come with such a strong force of focus that makes you glance your gaze at the future. Focus is the right language to quantify vision, no sign of distraction attached to it. If it's distracting and loss of concentration engulfing it then it ain't vision, rather it is a mirage. At this point all I could advise is to go clear your eye! For real, what many sees as vision is simply mirage that doesn't go forth beyond a inch. Its so deluded that them self can't see talk less others, in the city of the blind only the blind will lead.

 One truth you must know about vision is that it's not self-centered or selfish, it goes beyond you. There is nothing like sole proprietorship, it's either for humanity or not. If you're sole beneficiary of what you termed as vision then you're still daydreaming. It can't be said that you possess one, go sit down and re-strategize. Your vision is not for you, it's put in you to give out to humanity. So the sole beneficiary of your vision is humanity. Can I stumble this question to you? What vision have you written ready to pass on? Can it outlast your stay here on earth? Or does what you see as vision meaningful first to you before exporting it as an idea to generation? Until you see the larger picture of your life and where you belong in the take of life before you can boldly say of a truth that you've got a vision. The writing on the table must be plain enough for people and generations to read, start running with and equally in return tell other...that's blueprint of vision.

"Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run" says God to the Prophet in a response. The picture of your vision stand as witness and testimony to generations, though its fulfillment might take time -hang on! Time is the determinant factor of how your vision goes, it rightly spell the terms and conditions of vision.

 As today's stream is being brought to close, if it ain't greater than you then it's nothing short of mediocrity. Vision must be greater than you so that you can always stretch forth your horizon in thinking beyond the now.To some it's 'we're able to possess the land though giants might be the order of the land', while some is 'there be many giants, we're unable to possess'. All is a function of mentality!

 A 'now' thing that get stared up for a moment and later drains up in an twinkling can't be said to be a vision we'll export to generations. When you start to live life from the end that's when it could be said that you're living for a cause greater than. Any cause not greater than you is no vision, so stop the waste on running it...simply put it's mediocrity in the highest order.

INHERITANCE – the father’s heart (#Day 3 Stream)

Hello MOST ESTEEMED ONE, thank you for joining Live in Day 3 Stream of "INHERITANCE - the father's heart" series. It's been a great privilege to have come into the comfort of your precious moment over the past 2days this series started and now the 3rd day. However, should you miss any of the stream kindly visit Day 1 Stream and Day 2 Stream. Our today discuss take on new shape as we talk on a key principle that help us pass on good pattern to generations, it's called the POWER OF SERVICE. This is one element that will extend our pattern for living beyond us.

By default, every human are born to SERVE. Hum, caught you in the nap perhaps you think I’m talking of serving coffee tea right! Not so, the component part of our service point is with the tool of our gift which we earlier talked on in Day 2 stream. Simply put, service is like fitting the peg right into the square.
It’s serving out from what you have for the benefit of others because our gifting or purpose is not for us but for sole ownership of humanity. If you want to be relevant in this generation and beyond, you must bring yourself down to the point people can assess you for every details of life. When we talk of service, we don't mean you go around looking for people to help serve maybe their dishes or whatever menial need they have. To serve means to use the tool of your gift in solving problem.

When we begin living a purposeful life then we can say of a fact that we are in the act of service cause it is never an activity but an act. The problem we can solve with our personal brand – gift, purpose give room for the service point of how we serve humanity. Problem solved today determine how we become relevant in the heart of those whom we solve their problem, it goes beyond now and span to generation. I don't get to know those whom my father served but I keep hearing the good news of how he has served those he served even beyond the reach of where he has ever been in life. Service has a way of transporting the good news beyond our reach.

Which cause are you sold out to? The cause you are sold out to becomes the service point where you can serve your generation.  Every opportunity that daily comes your way in which you can be poured out as solution to problem have potential of building our ability to serve humanity. You can't commit yourself to meeting the need of others through service and yet nothing changed about your life. It just makes you grow stronger into reaching out to heart of humanity.  Let our Nigeria government know today that service goes beyond 365days stipulated for compulsory National service year, service is not separated as a part from the whole. It's a daily activity we do even if we don't have mean of higher education.

The connector chain that link us to generations is service to humanity, it extend out into the heart of humanity. Service to humanity is a mindset that makes us see every dawn of a new day as service point where we serve out our lot to others we meet along the pathway of life fulfillment. As we conclude today’s stream, let it be known to our generations that the more problem we solved the more service we serve to our generation and the more it makes posterity gains more access into how we’ve been used in our dispensation. A motor car will always bounce back to life each time you service it, the more service you service a car the more useful it become for you. So also the more service you serve others, the more referral it brings to you and the more energy it utilized in keep serving. This span beyond your dispensation because those that come behind you will always hear of the news.

Treat each opportunity you have to serve as essential commodity because it shoot you up the ladder of life. Keep at it without having the entitlement mentality of what to get back as compensation or payback, somehow it always have a means of paying you back in good measures of life. The greatest servant of all said “he that want to become the chief of all must first be servant”. As a leader, you are not there as boss or oga @the top; you are there as the servant of all and subordinate of all. Your leadership is just a function of the responsibilities attach to you. If you must truly serve, then you must be responsible to work ethic. For you to think service without work is to think of laziness. What has been committed to your care in which you must be responsible to? That is your service point!

Good day ESTEEMED READER, trust your day is getting on well. It’s my utmost privilege to once again welcome you to Day 2 Stream of “INHERITANCE – the father’s heart” series, thanks for giving us the comfort of your precious moment. Hope Day 1 stream was helpful to you. Perhaps you missed Day 1 stream, CLICK Here. Today our discuss take on another dimension of how we become responsible first to ourselves before be responsible to others, also we get to know of the hidden substance that lies within us which need be discovered or unveiled for the good of humanity. This has to do with our gifting, purpose sure enough to help us pass on good legacy to generations and humanity. Often times, the component truth we fail to know become the tool that kills us right on our face. Ignorance has never been and will never be an excuse in the court of law.

Let it be known to you today that your destiny is not interpreted based on public opinion, it is rightly defined as a function of your discovery.
Have you come to that realm in life where you asked yourself the question: what is the reason why I’m created? God will only conceal a thing, ours glory is to search it out through discovery. Just as it takes a scientist to discover findings over a period of time so also it takes time to discover the design of our lives. Hum, someone might be thinking I’m talking of world class designers such as Mark & Spencer, David Wej, Austin Reed and the likes! Not at all, by design I mean your personal brand that you are custom made with, which signifies your gifts and purpose. Once a purpose is not known, what becomes the order of the day is abuse. Behind the manufacturer mind is the purpose why a product was manufactured right, same applicable to us. Until the size and pack of our design are discovered, nothing of relevance can be said of us to pass o n to generations.

Envy is only capable of stealing our joy if we are engross with be envious of other people design, never be envious of my design you’ve got yours so go discover it. Don’t get it twisted, your design is the purpose and gifting that lies within your inner world; this defines your strength full of potentials. COGITATE:  what brings YOU into cynosure of generations is your GIFT, your gift determines your purpose in life. No better way it can be put less than how the book of Proverbs cited it: “a gift gets attention; it buys the attention of eminent people.” True to it, your gift makes you command and attract (as a magnet) the attention of great personality. So how do I get to unveil or discover my gift?

Firstly, see yourself from the perspective of a divine product divinely wired down on earth to solve problems. A product is manufactured to primarily solve a problem, but come to think of it: have you ever seen yourself as a product designed to solve problem? Or what inner strength do you’ve to see things are done in the right way without discrepancy, these are indicator lead light to your gift. Let it be known that we’re not going to pass on harshly what we don’t know or possess to generations. It must have been proven, tested and tried by us before making the pass on to them. 

Generation past told us a lie that money brings fulfillment  which we fail to pass on because we are redefining it in the right context, your gifts make you fulfilled and this we will tell our generation both those behind and yet unborn. Fulfillment is not about the money or possession in your care, it’s about living a purposeful life and putting our gifts to work for benefit of humanity.  Just as products have expiry date, so also our gift has. Your gift expires the moment you stop been productive not necessarily until you die. Little wonder some are living dead corpse passing on dead substance to humanity while some are passing on a lively hope to humanity.

So permit me to ask you this question, what are you passing on? Dead substance or lively hope? A closer walk with your creator GOD will bring you to limelight of your gifting and calling in life. Getting yourself reconnected to the God who is the source of your gifts will be the greatest wise decision you can make for yourself. If truly we desire to pass on good legacy to generations, it must be birthed from Him cause that will be of lasting impact. Anything of lasting significance must be His idea conceived to us. Without God, nothing meaningful can be achieved and pass on to humanity.

As we rap up Day 2 Stream of this series, what are the gifts you’ve discovered, used and ready to pass on to humanity? What do you carry as seed in your hand ready to deliver to generation and humanity as an idea/initiative that is fit to outlast your time? Within YOU are world of possibilities, untapped potential daily yearning for expression; stop rubbing generations of this. Myles Munroe once said ‘STOP BEING A GENERATIONAL THIEF’, the only way you won’t be a culprit is to bring them out from within.

Hello my ESTEEMED Reader, glad to have secured little of your moment out of the tight schedule you have. I must be the happier one to have that privilege. It is true we all want to pass on good virtue of legacy to generation behind us and the upcoming generationNext, but how do we intend with seriousness of heart to make this a reality? Based on this aspect is the prompting that led the Marketplace Strategist, Emmanuel Abiona in partnership with WEALTHBROOK Brand (a Human Development Firm) to present an online transformational legacy building series “INHERITANCE – the father’s heart” from Monday 8^th to Friday 12^th September 2014, Live on this blog and other 2 online channels: twitter @emmanuel_abiona and Facebook @AbionaEmma. 

Today we begin the series by laying on a good foundation on the concept of Inheritance. Every true heart of the father or parent is to see that their generation history (story) has an extension of a good legacy for their children. No one deserve to die without passing on something of relevance and value to their generation and generation yet unborn.  The substance that stay beyond our living in life is the quality of what we get passed on to others and posterity which had already have a stake in us before transferring its wealth.
Anything that has to do with only a function of material possessions or acquisition can't be termed inheritance, it goes beyond the fact. Inheritance will have a great meaning and larger picture if it is seen within the confine of a good legacy that gives the individuals concerned pattern for living even after the demise of the inherited. We all have seen some wealthy family pass on their wealth to their children as inheritance and yet few years down the line same children are become impoverished and wealth passed on as inheritance is nothing but a stale story. This is so because inheritance without good foundational pattern given to children are not strong to be tied as inheritance. Food for thought! If material possession is soon exhausted, what become of the children?

What our present generation is in dire need of is an extension of the right ethics to life and work, teach us how to work and see life in its greater picture then we'll be happy that something of lasting relevance and impact is passed on to us as a legacy and inheritance; even though material possessions are not involved. This will give us a clear cut definition of what inheritance we ought to pass on to generation behind us and posterity. Before passing on material possessions as inheritance, first tutor them on how they could live life in its right sense and how they too can create wealth by mean of work which you’ve done yielding return of investment for you, and how they too can do beyond the ones you’ve done. 

Dad, Mum listen to us! The component part of what we'll want from you as inheritance is the right ethic and pattern for living not material possessions, give us these demand and be rest assured we'll in return use it to generate material possessions for ourselves and have more lasting deposits of impact to pass on to generation behind us and generationNext. Already this is the basics of what we're redefining as inheritance which our generation will pass on to others.

Though my father is dead, but I’m still the most happier and fulfilled in life due to the impactful investment he has made in my life not for the possessions he gave me. At every point in life, we all are writing our story line which generations must act on. What you write on is what gets acted out as script to generations behind. Get on the pathway of fulfillment and watch how you advance the ladder of life, what get stocked in you will be deposit of inheritance you pass on. 

Whatever has beginning in you will have an end in the generation that comes after you, let it not start and end with you. The right direction nurtured for yourself and is yielding dividend, should pass on to others by leading them in same pathway of mentorship. My generation is tired of crusades, revivals that lead nowhere. All we need is revival of the mind where great things get start up. History without good story to pass on is failure to humanity, whatever things that doesn’t go after your demise is bound to fail right in your presence.
