Very true that at this moment when year 2014 is fast around us, many are beginning to start up new project, dream, vision. But one thing is required! Have you come to ask yourself if those new project or vision is really necessary or has it got a crucial role to play or complement in event of your life? Or is it coming just for normal routine new year resolution? Or is it coming from your heart of heart cause the change is needed?

We must be ready to question standard, norms through the project or vision we long to embrace. Be apt to challenge status quo and get real in your daily dealing.
Never permit your thought pattern to be adjusted to the maladaptive culture we fit in. Rightly adjust to changes that will be required as assets. Don't venture into a new project if the present one you are handling is still hanging in the air. Let there be necessity for the 'NEW' until you get into its zone.

Time and research have proven that its no longer mineral resources that are in scarce commodity in our society or that grows a society. What then is the resource that is fit to grow and sustain a virile society? It is MIND RESOURCES, with this tool a mineral resources can be discovered, developed and deployed rightly in the context of how it ought to be.

This brings to mind the meaning of the key word "ALLASSO" which is a Greek word meaning 'to make other than it is; to cause one thing to cease and another to take its place.' Close to this word is a word known as CHANGE. Change does not take effect as a result of possession we've got in our deposit but the only means through which change occur is right disposition of our mind or mentality to issues beckoning on us.

The capacity that our mind contain in the event of life will substantiate how effective and productive we become in the voyage of life. A little container you carry will only produce a little result, large container will only produce greater feats in term of result. In life, you will never outweigh the  capacity you possess in terms of its result. Grasp for more intake, you will see an overflow and once you get to the overflow take more extra!

Here's a secret we must not miss out: Full of the deep that daily encompasses surface of our container is darkness, such that just a beam of light could paint a difference. Light could give life, meaning and direction to how we effectively and efficiently think into birthing ideas, thoughts in our mind. Little did I realized that men and sphere of influence has become adjusted to its intensity of gross darkness.

What we can cause to cease in our world is darkness and what we can cause to motion is light. This latter thought do keep me in a fix: "darkness will keep hovering in our world and disobedience will be on the increase in hearts of human until there is a move of concerted efforts on our side to wage war against it through our action. WITH THE SHINE OF OUR LIGHT WE'RE SURE OF APPREHENDING DARKNESS TO ITS ROOT AND JUDGING EVERY FORMS OF DISOBEDIENCE WITH OUR OBEDIENCE." When this is in place, we cause into motion an ALLASSO effect.

We are never given money in life but given time to make money as returns, the fellow that has money but no time to spend it is more miserable than one who has got time but no money.

The value you rightly place on time will determine maximal utility you derive from her. Here's the catch:best way to maximize time is "FIND THE RIGHT COURSE/ACTION AND DO SAME AT THE RIGHT TIME. Don't ever procrastinate what you ought to do today till tomorrow for it will be a carryover to the activities already scheduled for tomorrow. Invest wisely with the resource - TIME which is daily at your disposal and you will see what it brings in returns for you.
Have attitudinal change of what gain control of your time 'cause its supply and flow is limited.

The problem does not lies in getting finance but managing it according to dictates of our life's assignment. We often feel the urge to always buy even if it does not fall to our needs list.
Financial accountability is at best knowing source of your finance and how you spend it. Before spending you must identify asset versus liability, need versus want. Your asset is anything that create value for you or which you place value on. So asset could be liquid, tangible or intangible.

While your needs are the basic essentiality for daily living. Once you can diversify your asset, needs then you are properly position to know where you channel your finance on. Notice, not everything that daily calls for your attention is what you give thought of purchasing. Some are just want which may end up being junks, some are need and some does not belong to either.

Do yourself good by counting the cost because human want are insatiable but human need can be satiable when you classify them into primary -those urgently needed which most of the time are physiological need and secondary, those that range from social security, self esteem and affiliation.

It was Matt Beemer, Visiting American Missionary to Nigeria once observed that "Nigeria is the decision making centre for Africa and if such is true, what is she exporting to others ." Very strong profound statement to his credit! Truly if Nigeria must be that force that takes decision for Africa, she must have in possession some virtues, strength that others lack. But we need to ask ourselves this crucial question: do we as a country have a core value, vision or mission statement?
Definitely capital NO.

The so called vision 20-2020 being chanted in some quarter is not a good representation of our core values cause it is a borrowed culture after the order of U.N millennium development goals (MDGs).
When the name of America, China and other developed countries of the world is being mentioned, something comes to mind - their IDENTITY. But in our's case nothing comes to mind than our criminality, cruel and crude nature.

We can't fight for the cause we don't know and what you don't know will be what will hurt you. If we must move forward the Nigeria Dream, there must be clear cut defined vision we are pursuing as a nation. Until this is in place we have no race at our feet to run, we as individuals, society must unite as one body and engage our leaders demanding from them the vision of the Nigeria Dream.

Every of our politician manifesto and mantra must carries slice of the Nigeria Dream. Our personal interest must also carry slice of it, enough of me-me selfish syndrome we've carried over the years. LETS DROP THEM DOWN AND CHANT FORWARD THE NIGERIA OF OUR DREAM. TOGETHER WE SHALL ALL BUILD OUR NATION AS VIRILE COUNTRY NATIONS OF THE WORLD WOULD DESIRE TO BEHOLD. It takes our conscious efforts to let go of the past before we can be healed of its Pains.

Oh yes the past has got its lessons to teach us and learn from, let it be that the retrospect you cast on it is only to learn from its numerous lessons that has got to instruct in the manner not to repeat its mistake in the future, that is the way to learn from history.

Our present day world has moved from mineral resources to MIND RESOURCES. Nigeria as a nation has numerous mineral resources to her credit but less mind resources to transform it to wealth. Whatever take we get in life is a function of how effective we've put our mind to work. The thinking pattern we possess will go a long way in determining the perspective we get in life. If we think prosperity, we get the end result of prosperity; if we think of poverty, we get the result of poverty.

A wise King once observed: 'keep vigilant watch over your heart that's where life starts'.Very true, an uncultivated mind is a non-performing and deformed mind.
Within the mind capability lies ability to hatch, conceive innovative thoughts and ideas that can better our community, society and nation at large for well-positioned lasting impacts that posterity can thrive on.

The long awaited revival we need in Nigeria and Africa as whole is that of the revival and miracle of the mind because we've  witnessed the best crusades, revival yet our nation and continent still remain same without change and also suffer setbacks. Its time we begin to use our initiative in birthing something meaningful, never will our bad culture of laziness,corruption, excuses become impediment in getting to the height we must attain.

I love what an American Author wrote in one of his book:
"Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead,fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down toils level if immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develop well-formed maturity in you."

5. Where does my strength lies? Cause you only derive satisfaction from work that contains means of your strength and thus will provide you with greater opportunities to explore.

CONCEPT OF FREEDOM (Series II)

Freedom isn't for the weak rather for the strong. It's easier to be a slave than a free man. If people know this, the clamour for freedom will be reduced drastically. I particularly believe the problem of Nigeria started at independence, we couldn't manage the responsibilities of doing things our own way. We are used to been told what to do. Slavery and freedom is not physical rather internal or mental.

Slavery is a mental conditioning so also freedom. A process of change which is the re-conditioning of the mind is the answer to the long gap between slavery and freedom. If it hasn't happened in the mind then its not CHANGE and far from freedom. Before I bore you, let's get back to where we started from.

Freedom isn't the absence of work, law, labour etc as a matter of fact freedom puts more laws and work on us; builds one to be responsible to carry out every work, labour, laws on his own. If you truly want to be a leader, then you must experience freedom-then get to work!

CONCEPT OF FREEDOM

I know lot of scholars have said so much about leadership, but leadership must also be seen clearly from the view point of FREEDOM. FREEDOM is from two words "FREE and DOMINION". Without missing words, I'm saying a leader must have the liberty to dominate through unique and exceptional gifts, talents, quality of life and the rests. A lot of folks think that freedom means the absent of law, work, labour and order, rather it must be seen as embracing RESPONSIBILITIES.

Discussing freedom won't be complete if not been put side by side slavery. Slaves always wait for instructions, runs their master tasks, can't take decisions on their own, don't worry about what to eat because their master does that, slaves are not creative, they only execute the creativity of their masters.

From these qualities of slaves, obviously slaves can't be a leader, it negates every quality of a leader. Slavery can also be seen from the lens of pain, poverty, labour, oppression and the likes. This always make me understand the series of governments Nigeria have had over the years. Its natural for a man that has been oppressed to oppress others, a man coming from poverty can't handle riches. 99% of Nigerian government are slaves. They have never experienced true freedom.

A slave is told when to wake up when to work when to eat, what to eat etc, but freedom puts the responsibility on one. A free man now must think of what to eat, when to eat, work to feed himself, choose to sleep and a wake up at a particular time.

Growing up as a teenager and in my early twenty's, my Father always pitch it in my hearing that: DOING THINGS DECENTLY AND IN ORDERS. This makes no sense to me then cause I was disorganized and have no priorities, how 100% disorganized I was at that time.

Here's the catch: The right mentality with good moral standards we set for ourselves makes us more organized and focused towards the takes of life.
It's with this measure we set godly standards for our family, community and nation as a yardstick for them to imitate and follow through.

A right society with right set of people free from moral decadence starts from a well-tutored individuals who have learnt and put to work life's basic principle...we make it easier for our younger generations and posterities to follow after our fotprint the good legacy we've taught them and have learnt from us.

Good day GREAT PEOPLE, yesterday we discussed about two (2) diverse categories of people: the Illiterate and Semi-literate Citizens. Today we continued with the third category: LITERATE CITIZENS. These are the set of people updated with the happenings in their society and the Nigeria State, and are stakeholders in nation building with their voices bent with solution-driven contents and opinions.
Never are they satisfied with the mediocre outlook of the country because of their expectation of where they country ought to be. The language of complacency does not exist in their dictionary, hence they are not tired of being the society watchdog even though many mistake their attitude with negativity due to bias sentiment. These cadre of folks are of optimistic mind and resolute that come one day through their active contribution and participation to the land the NEW NIGERIA DREAM will come true and arrived at her destined future.

One good spirit about this category of citizen is they are ever ready to till the land through service of their purpose and gifting to the development of their  fatherland. Doing the right thing at the right time and right place is what keeps moving them ahead in life. I conclude today's stream with the thought of Booker T. Washington:

"no race can prosper till it learns that there is as much dignity in tilling a field as in writing a poem"

Each daybreak brings us to a point where we daily interface with diverse categories of people.

The first set are ILLITERATE CITIZENS who are clueless about the Nigeria nation and worldview. These are cadre of fellows with the mindset of "what is my concern about the society and Nation. What gonna be will be".
The second set are SEMILITERATE FOLKS who knows about the Nigeria State, her civil rights and multi-facet landscaping currently treading but never bring it to bear. They have handful information at their tip and knows the right thing that ought to be done, but at the point where actions needs to be carried out what comes to their mind is "afterwards since some citizens have been canvassing for transparency and change what is the result to show for it".

Many times we are accustomed to the culture of casting blame when in our own stead we fail to do the right thing required of us. We have excuses as individuals, society and nation for not doing the right things expedient from us compared to little reasons why the right thing must be done. Excuses are weak salient point that deprive us from doing the right thing at the right time in the right place.

It is tool of the incompetent and only the fool make use of it , until we move from why a good cause should not be done to why it must always be done before we can experience a change of tide in our approach to issues of life.

Two set of people exist: those that can complain all day long without remedy or palliative measure to solve issues they've complained of or given excuses about. More talk about what has not worked for them and the nation at large is the tune they play with their mouth, when asked 'way out' they become dumb.


The second set are people who complains less and have much innovative measures to how what they complain about can be resolved. They talk less but do more in terms of action. The latter are rare to get in our society, nation than the former who are the highest population.

The lesser reason we take off complaints and excuses off our way, the more reason we will be compel to move beyond the limit and get things done.
