FOOTPRINT OF THE UNKOWN WORLD

“How it can be so pleasant for us to acclaim greatness in life all within a twinkling of a seconds! You know what friend, it never done like that. It’s attained step by step” – this was my response to a fellow colleague in the workplace who was in a haste to get to the top without taking the necessary measure of step. Life is governed by principles and only those who are determined to play by the rule get to greatness and it’s does not come in haste as ‘Rome was not built in a day’. We will never have the privilege to grow big in becoming great just in a day cause the ladder of greatness is climbed day-in, day-out until we get to the perfecting or finishing line.
And guess what? You can’t get to the finish line while still living because beyond every finishing point is a next level you must attain in the voyage of life except if you’re complacent with status quo.

Each dawn of a new day should challenge you in attaining greater feats in life. Yesterday’s victory is not sufficient for today’s success, for we live in a changing world which is dynamic in her nature. This goes on to suggest to us that complacency should never come to play in your life. All that we will ever need in life to get fulfilled is in a go, on us the go-mandate will place a demand to always step out of the status quo or comfort zone and stretch higher to the unknown world with our vision intact measuring out necessary actions on it. Life just begins at the end of your comfort zone, it tipping point aims higher than what the status quo can see.

A strong force that makes us grow to greatness is our mindset, whatever the mind can’t conceive the hand can’t produce. It’s what is fixed in the mindset that triggers a response which produces in the physical. The result we see in the physical amount to nothing until it has first gone live in the mind. Little wonder a wise King, Solomon rightly observed:

“Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life”.

Great thought from a great mind, every entirety of our life is influenced by the mind for it is the hallmark of where our success, failure starts from.  Expansion, increase is a MINDSET and spirit you must first carry in the mind; anything the mind wouldn’t see never get produced in life.

WHAT YOU INSERT INSIDE YOUR MIND GETS ACCOMPLISHED BY OPPORTUNITIES WHICH GET IT FULFILLED. Another secret you need know is this: YOU CAN’T GROW PAST THE LIMIT YOU’VE PEGGED ON YOUR MIND UNTIL YOU CHANGE YOUR MENTALITY. There is no limit in life except the limit you’ve placed on yourself.

Remember don’t you ever forget in a haste that it takes a transit from the known world to the UNKNOWN WORLD.

COMMUNIQUE

 The ‘PARENT –TEENS FORUM’ held on Friday 18th April, 2014 (Good Friday) hosted by THE WEALTHBROOK BRAND hereby resolved the following 7-point communiqué in her interactive forum:
1. That Children's first responsibility to PARENTS is to obey them irrespective of the direction they are been led because they carries authority as God’s first representative to the children on earth
2. That children second responsibility is to be RESPONSIBLE to themselves – respond to ABILITY that lies within themselves.
3. That If parent have not discover their ward or children’s vision in life, abilities, skill-set, interest; they have no role of performing their advisory duties over the child in terms of career formation and other salient issue

4. That Parents are key instrument to whatever take their children become because they are first primary point of contact through which the child came to the world and as such are first teacher who should discover, cultivate, nurture and develop the children before any external (secondary) source intervention
5. That parent should serve as advisor not impostor in guiding their children aright in path of career formation, match them in line with their vision and love spot – passion and be given space to make their choice
6. That parenting is not and should never be conceived as casual role but divine responsibility bestowed upon them to guide what is committed to their trust. 
7. That parent leading the child to choose a career should not be borne out of their selfish ambition or unfulfilled dream but should be in the right direction children ought to go.

WHO'S TO CHOOSE MY CAREER?

DAD: Janet, I want you to study Aeronautical Science

JANET: Dad the course I love to study which I've interest for is Architectural Science

MUM: Not at all Janet, you can't study that course. Mine is different from your dad choice, I'll have you study Electrical Engineering and nothing can stop that for you.

JANET: I'm caught up with 3 different choice, really confused. What will I do?

JANET: Dad, why do you want me to study aeronautical science?

DAD: I've connection in the aviation industry and will like you to attend Nigeria Civil Aviation College in Zaria to get professionally certified.

JANET: That sound good to the hearing. But Mum, can I hear view of your own choice for me studying Electrical Engineering

MUM: I like you studying it because you'll be good at it and besides you do like fixing up little electrical fault at home whenever the need arise.

JANET: Mum,think I like the perspective you're coming from but I don't see myself in that direction. I'm still caught in the cobwebs of confusion, what will I do?

Our intent for the Parent - Teens forum is to be an interactive forum, let hear from the horses mouth - parents why they impose career on their children because you can't stand to correct wrong attitude or influence until you first understand the mind of such individuals. It's ain't a forum we talk down parent but a forum where teens or children hear for themselves why their parent is leading them towards that path and the parent also hears for themselves why the child intend pursuing a career in line or different from theirs.

Yes it's true that parent should be a voice in guiding their children or wards in term of career choice but such should be balanced especially when the child have a conviction of the career he or she chooses to pursue.

We stands to strike a balance, reiterates parent or guidance responsibilities and commitment to their children or ward and the children commitment in return to their parent.

Our intention is not to kill but HEAL.
